Donna joined our team in 2021. She and her husband J have managed campgrounds all over the country, and won Campground of the Year at Delaware River Gap KOA. Donna trains our team on everything from guest services to housekeeping to store merchandising. J and Donna bring their two rescue Papillons, Candi and Digger, with them wherever they go.

As we like to say, if J can’t fix it, you should probably buy a new one! From infrastructure upgrades to rig calamities, J is the one who leads our team in keeping our campgrounds looking beautiful and helping our staff and guests troubleshoot when problems pop up. He and Donna have been working at campgrounds for over 15 years, and they have the stories and lifelong friends to prove it.

Eric bought his first campground in 2021 and his favorite parts of being a campground owner are getting to know the amazing workcampers who join our team and hearing from families who love our parks. When he’s not thinking about campgrounds, he’s spending time with his wife, Stewart, their baby, and dog Otto.

Jenn and her partner Aaron joined our team in 2022 as workcampers, and they became the Managers at Two Rivers in 2023. They travel with their 45 foot Keystone Raptor 5th wheel and their dogs Zeus and MJ. Her favorite place to visit is Florida!

Aaron Price and his partner, Jenn, joined the Two Rivers team first as workcampers. In 2023 they stepped into their current manager roles.

Kate has been with our team for three years, starting with us at Two Rivers, supporting our first season at Traverse City, and now joining us for our first season at Wilderness. She is originally from New Bedford, MA and has been workcamping since 2015 with her wife, Ally. Kate’s favorite places she’s visited in her travels have been Bar Harbor, ME, Estes Park, CO and of course, Traverse City!

Once Eric started working on his first campground, Stewart couldn’t help but start pitching in! She helps our team hire as we grow and tries to not drive everyone too crazy with tech tools. Stewart grew up tent camping and hiking in the Blue Ridge and Smokey Mountains and loves a hot cup of coffee by the campfire in the morning.

In 2022, Chelsea closed her barber studio and embarked on a nomadic journey that led her to workcamping. She hasn’t looked back! She joined the Wilderness team in 2024 and joined the Starlight team following our acquisition. For Chelsea, camping is about connecting to a simpler way of life and building friendships all over the country. When she isn’t at the campground, you can find her out traveling with her two adventure Pugs, Zade and Zoey.

Ally has been with our team since summer 2023, supporting all outisde and maintenance operations. She and Kate travel with their dogs Izzy the Chihuahua (found at a Florida campground) and Zoey the cat (who has been on the road with them since day one!). Ally is loves checking out local beaches, lighthouses, and she and Kate are our gurus on the best craft beer wherever we go.

The 2025 season is Sue’s first with the Starlight Team. She and Dale have been workcamping for over 10 years.

Dale joined the Starlight team in 2025 and before he embarked on his workcamping journey, spent many years as the maintenance supervisor at a large assisted living facility.
